In this special class, we will gently yet effectively mobilize, stretch, and strengthen the hips. At the same time, we will support and strengthen the lower back—especially the lumbar spine—and the abdominal muscles, as these areas are closely connected.

Our hips deserve special attention because they are often one of the least mobile parts of the body. One reason is our modern lifestyle: prolonged sitting, repetitive movement patterns, and poor posture can lead to tension and reduced mobility. A tight lower back and shallow breathing that does not fully reach the abdomen can also contribute to stiffness in the hips.

During this special, we will explore the hips not only from an anatomical perspective. According to a widely shared theory, the hips may also hold unprocessed emotions, which can manifest as tension and restricted movement over time. Through mindful movement, conscious breathing, and the soothing warmth of a cushion filled with cherry stones, we will explore this connection and create space for greater mobility, relaxation, and inner balance.

This special is suitable for anyone who would like to improve hip mobility, relieve tension in the lower back, and enjoy a deeply relaxing practice for both body and mind.
